Our Mission
The League of Women Voters of the Cleveland area is a nonpartisan membership organization founded in 1920. We are dedicated to the principles of self-government established in the Constitution of the United States and the protection of the right to vote of every citizen. The League promotes responsibility through informed and active citizen participation in government and advocates on public policy after study.
The League of Women Voters of Cleveland Educational Fund is the nonprofit, 501(c)(3) arm of the League of Women Voters of Cleveland and is dedicated to encouraging active and informed citizen participation in government and civic affairs. The Educational Fund works to make the often complicated political process more easily understood through nonpartisan voter information, public forums, programs and publications.
