NEW! Alliance formed to save East Side Shoreline: The League of Women Voters Cleveland Area has been working with other organizations to oppose the move of the Port of Cleveland, as proposed by the Cleveland-Cuyahoga County Port Authority, to the site of the current Cleveland Lakefront State Park, East 55th Street Marina.
NEW! Community Shares: Their mission is to “support social justice organizations through workplace giving programs and other philanthropic initiatives.”
Events
The League of Women Voters Education Fund conducts a series of programs and special events to educate and motivate citizens for active and informed participation in government and civic affairs. Many of the programs help educate young adults on the important role they play in the civic life of their community.
